UN lacks equipment to handle ticking climate bomb off Yemen
IMO encourages member nations to donate used equipment to prevent oil leak. It is to be used should issues occur at an old tanker which is waiting on an oil-siphoning off of the Yemeni coast.
The vessel FSO Safer is located about five nautical miles off of Yemen’s coast at the Red Sea, slowly perishing.
