A giant order for gas carriers could be on its way to South Korean shipbuilders

Three major shipyards might be about to receive a USD 10bn order for new LNG carriers. Qatar is allegedly behind the order.

Qatar could be on its way with a huge order for liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers for South Korea’s three major shipbuilders HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hanwha Ocean and Samsung Heavy Industries.
