US sanctions tanker company for illegal trade in Russian oil

A tanker shipping company based in the United Arab Emirates can no longer trade in dollars after the US imposed sanctions on the company’s fleet of 18 vessels.

The United States has imposed sanctions on United Arab Emirates tanker company Hennesea Shipping for violating a ban on trading Russian oil at more than USD 60 per barrel, according to the US Treasury Department.
