France purchases more Russian gas despite tough stance

In the first three months of the year, France increased its purchases of Russian gas, spending more than any other EU country.

France has spent EUR 600m on gas supplies from Russia in the first months of the year according to Politico, based on analysis made by the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA).
