Dorian LPG forms VLGC pool with MOL carrier

Dorian LPG and Phoenix Tankers, a subsidiary of Japanese MOL, will launch a pool collaboration for their major gas vessels in January 2015. Dorian's interim report for the first nine months shows a revenue of USD 29.6 million.

Dorian LPG, whose ownership includes Scorpio Tankers, has entered a collaboration with a subsidiary of Japanese MOL, Phoenix Tankers, to form a pool for the carriers' VLGC's. Phoenix Tankers currently has a fleet of 11 vessels, while Dorian has four ships in the water and 18 newbuildings set for delivery ahead of January 2016, according to the company's interim report for the first nine months since Dorian changed to its current setup.
