Scorpio puts Dorian LPG shares up for sale

Scorpio has now put its shares in gas carrier Dorian LPG up for sale. The same thing goes for four other major shareholders. This happens a few weeks after CEO Robert Bugbee left the carrier's board of directors. Avance Gas looks like an obvious buyer.

Scorpio is pulling out of gas carrier Dorian LPG. This becomes clear after the aggressive carrier has put its shares in the company up for sale - Scorpio owns around one third of the carrier.

The move follows numerous indicators that Scorpio was planning a move in this direction. In early November Scorpio Tankers president Robert Bugbee resigned from the Dorian LPG board of directors, and though the carrier continued to have a seat on the board, this seat was never filled after his departure.
