Hafnia Tankers expands with four large product tankers

Hafnia Tankers has reached an agreement on four LR1 product tankers, all of which will be placed in the Straits Tankers pool in February. All of the vessels are fully funded, according to the carrier.

Hafnia Tankers is once again expanding its fleet. This time with the large product tankers LR1, a segment that has been in high demand for the last few months.

The carrier has reached an agreement to acquire four LR1 vessels, which will be delivered during February. The vessels will be placed in Singapore based Straits Tankers, a pool owned by Hafnia Management and Japanese MOL and which today operates 31 large product tankers.
