Media: Diamond S places eight ships in Maersk pool

Maersk Tankers will get another eight vessels in its pool from US-based Diamond S Shipping, which recently placed a similar number of vessels in Norden's pool.

US-based product tanker carrier Diamond S Shipping, which is controlled by equity fund investor Wilbur Ross, has placed eight of its vessels in Maersk Tankers' Handysize pool, reports Tradewinds.

In a similar move, Scorpio Tankers, which owns the world's largest fleet fleet of new eco-design vessels, will operate eight of Diamond S Shipping's MR vessels.
