A lot has changed for Maersk Tankers since former Maersk Line COO Morten Engelstoft took over as CEO of the conglomerate's dwindling tanker carrier, beset by heavy losses, two years ago. Today, Maersk Tankers is a profitable product tanker carrier after the sale of its supertankers to Euronav i 2014, but the biggest game changer has been the upturn experienced by the sector as a result of the low oil price.

As such, it is a satisfied Morten Engelstoft who occupies the office in Copenhagen with windows from the floor to the ceiling providing an impressive view of the city's waterfront.
