BW LPG: We should not be too optimistic right now

BW LPG delivered a record result in 2015, but CEO Martin Ackermann is more subdued in regards to the coming year. "The whole world is under pressure so it's hard to be really optimistic right now," he says in an interview with ShippingWatch.

The world's largest VLGC carrier, BW LPG, presented a solid result for the past year - just as expected. This was a year in which major gas vessels at times sailed for sky-high spot rates of USD 100,000. In 2015, BW LPG boosted its result after taxes to USD 326 million, according to the annual report.
