Frontline has sold its last MR vessels

Frontline is pulling out of the MR sector with the sale of its six MR vessels for USD 172.5 million. Last week Ardmore announced its acquisition of six tankers of the same type.

Frontline has sold its last remaining MR vessels and is leaving the segment for the medium-sized ships, the carrier writes in a statement to the Oslo Stock Exchange. The vessels were sold for a total price of USD 172.5 million and will be delivered to the purchaser over the course of September and October.
