Navig8 Chemical multiplies net result in Q2

New chemical tanker vessels benefited Navig8 Chemical Tankers in the second quarter, which brought an improved result in spite of a weaker market. CEO Nicholas Busch projects favorable rates going forward.

Navig8 Chemical Tankers, which is listed on the OTC Exchange in Oslo, multiplied its net result in the second quarter. The carrier delivered a result of USD 9.6 million against USD 2.9 million in the same period last year.

The revenue came to USD 39.9 million, up from USD 14 million in the second quarter 2015.
