Frontline CEO expects significantly weaker 2016

On top of a booming first quarter this year, Frontline expected that the soaring tanker market would only continue. The second quarter results show an entirely different picture and CEO Robert Hvide Macleod now foresees "a significantly weaker 2016."

Tanker carrier Frontline booked a setback in the net profit for the second quarter 2016 as evident in the just published interim report. This is despite previous expectations of a strong full year.
