Frontline cancels four VLCC newbuildings

Tanker carrier Frontline has terminated contracts for four VLCC newbuildings from Korean shipbuilder STX and will instead look at second-hand vessels. Tanker market remains attractive, notes the carrier.

John "Big Wolf" Fredriksen's tanker behemoth Frontline has canceled newbuilding contracts for four VLCC supertankers from South Korean shipyard STX Offshore & Shipbuilding, informs the carrier in a press release Friday.
