Hafnia Tankers orders two newbuilds from China

The Danish product tanker carrier has ordered two large newbuilds through a Chinese joint venture for USD 74 million.

Hafnia Tankers has placed an order for two so-called LR1 (Long Range) product tanker vessels of 75,000 dwt. The order was placed through Vista Shipping, a joint venture between Hafnia Tankers and a Hong Kong-based leasing company China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC).
