JP Morgan concerned about new VLCC orders

Many shipowners have started ordering VLCC ships in the hope that the market is headed towards a boom in coming years. This is a worrisome trend, according to US bank JP Morgan.

US bank JP Morgan is concerned that many shipowners have started ordering more Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC) while the market is already plagued by overcapacity and demand uncertainty.
