Torm's profit down big-time in Q1

Tanker carrier Torm exits the first quarter of the year with a profit of USD 4.8 million. The carrier no longer publishes guidance for earnings.

Torm finished the first three months of the year with a profit of USD 4.8 million before taxes, according to the interim report, published Tuesday.

The operating profit (EBITDA) came to USD 44 million for the period. In comparison, the EBITDA and result for the same period last year finished at USD 70 million and USD 31 million, respectively.
