Sovcomflot's earnings plunged in the first half of 2017

Offshore and gas transports shielded the Russian tanker group from the worst consequences of the slowdown in crude oil transports, Sovcomflot writes in its half-year financial report.

Earnings at Russian tanker carrier Sovcomflot plunged in the first half of the year with a net profit of USD 15.2 million, compared to USD 166 million in the same period last year, shows Sovcomflot's half-year financial report, released Wednesday.
