Court orders USD 1.9 billion in compensation for oil catastrophe

The Spanish state will be compensated USD 1.9 billion for the worst oil catastrophe ever in Europe, caused when tanker vessel Prestige sank in 2002. London P&I Club will pay the figure, said the court.
