Vestager expected to crack down on price cartels in car transport

After major fines have been issued in the US and Japan to car carriers, the EU's Competitions Commissioner is expected to soon follow suit with similar sanctions against the price cartels.

EU Competitions Commissioner, Margrethe Vestager, and her public officials in Brussels are now ready after six years to issue fines to Japanese car carriers as well as Norway's Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics ASA (WWL) and others for illegal price fixing, reports Reuters.
