Carsten Mortensen steps down from DHT board of directors

Former CEO of BW Group, Carsten Mortensen, is stepping down from his post on DHT Holdings' board of directors. The 52-year-old Dane recently entered the board of Hafnia Tankers.

After a few eventful weeks, 52-year-old Carsten Mortensen is now withdrawing from his post as board member at Norwegian tanker carrier DHT Holdings.

Recently it emerged that Mortensen is part of the new board in Hafnia Tankers, which has now been settled after shipping group BW Group acquired a stake in the product tanker carrier back in the summer.
