More than 1000 scrubbers ordered in the last six months

According to DNV GL, more than 1,000 scrubbers have been ordered in the past six months. Sweden's Stena Bulk is the latest player to place orders.

In the course of the past six months, shipping companies have ordered more than 1,000 scrubbers, show data from DNV GL, according to World Maritime News. Most recently, Stena Bulk has announced that the company will install scrubbers on 15 ships and has options on another six before 2020.
