Analyst firms upgrade confidence in shipping equities for 2019

2019 could be the year when everything falls into place for shipping equities, say an analyst firms based on new figures. Expectations for 2020 are being established right now.

Investors should take a serious look at shipping equities in 2019, as forecasts for the effects of the global sulfur regulations are really ticking in, notes analyst firm Clarksons Platou Securities, which in a new report paints a brighter picture of shipping equities in the coming year, compared with the declines several sectors took in 2018.
