DSME lands orders for four VLCCs

South Korea's DSME has secured an order for four tanker vessels which will be delivered in 2021. This marks the second large VLCC order in under a month.

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) has landed a new deal to build and deliver four VLCC supertankers, reports Yonhap.

The order is the second in a row of large orders on VLCC vessels to land under one month, and is valued at USD 365 million.
