Denmark heightens threat assessment for sailing in the Gulf of Oman

Danish authorities have tightened their guidelines for sailing in the Gulf of Oman following last week's attack on two oil tankers.

The so-called ISPS contact group, represented by parties such as the Security and Intelligence Service (PET), the Defense and the Maritime Authority, has issued a "safety-related message to Danish carriers" after the attack on the tankers.
