DFDS to grow through acquisitions in logistics

DFDS is capable of making million-dollar acquisitions right now, CEO Torben Carlsen tells ShippingWatch. Over the next four years, the shipping company will grow significantly through acquisitions, although any major ones will have to wait a few more years.

Torben Carlsen only just took charge at shipping and logistics company DFDS but he has already begun the search for new acquisition targets aimed at securing the company's growth in coming years.

In an interview with ShippingWatch, the CEO puts into words the kinds of company that he is on the lookout for, and why these are important to DFDS, which, just like other companies, is trying bolster its business within logistics.
