Denmark prepared to join naval mission in Strait of Hormuz

Denmark is now prepared to participate in an international naval mission aimed at ensuring the safety of international shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. "The government welcomes a possible Danish contribution," says Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod.

Denmark's government is now ready to join an international maritime coalition, which will ensure the safe passage of vessels in the Strait of Hormuz near Iran, an area which has recently been plagued by turmoil.
