DNV GL believes in LNG as the best alternative fuel in the next decade

LNG is the way forward in the next decade in terms of environmental fuel for the shipping sector, says a new report by classification bureau DNV GL.

Liquefied natural gas is headed for glory days in the next decade as the fuel, also known as LNG, represents the best alternative fuel for the shipping sector, concludes classification bureau DNV GL in a new report that looks at the sector in the years ahead of 2050.

According to DNV GL, LNG is the most attractive environmental fuel globally for long-distance sea transport.
