Several container shipping companies' offices destroyed in Beirut

Hapag-Lloyd's office in Beirut "was completely destroyed" in Tuesday's explosion, while Maersk's office in the port is also severely damaged. Three employees at Maersk were lightly injured, while all Hapag-Lloyd's employees got out safely.

The massive explosion in Beirut's port Tuesday has also affected some of the world's largest container shipping companies, where one employee at France's CMA CGM has been confirmed dead.
