Wilhelmsen strife continues: Cousins raise offer for CEO

Cousins of Thomas Wilhelmsen raise their offer for his stake by several million NOK in an attempt to buy him out of the group.

A power struggle continues between relatives in the Wilhelmsen family, who are trying to buy each other out of their respective shareholdings.

The latest move was made by six cousins and an aunt in the so-called M7 group, who have increased their offer by NOK 600 million for the stake held by Thomas Wilhelmsen. This brings the total offer to currently NOK 2.7 billion (USD 314.5 million), writes Norwegian business media Finansavisen.
