Cyprus will lower its tonnage tax significantly for shipping companies that are working to reduce their carbon emissions.
Cyprus says it will lower tonnage tax to create incentives for shipping companies to use greener ships and ultimately have them registered in the flag state in the middle of the Mediterranean.
