Eastern Pacific and Golar form new LNG shipping company

Golar joins forces with Eastern Pacific Shipping to launch a new LNG operator that will start out with eight gas carriers. The company expects to go public on the Oslo exchange in the first quarter of 2022.

Eastern Pacific Shipping and Golar have reached an agreement to form a new joint venture LNG operator.

The new venture will operate under the name Cool Company and will start out with eight LNG ships to be purchased from Golar, inform the parties in a press release.
