Large RoRo vessel on fire and adrift in the Atlantic

A more than 200-meter RoRo ship laden with Volkswagen cars is adrift and crewless in the Atlantic Ocean after a fire broke out on board Wednesday, according to news agency AP.

The 22 crew members of burning roll-on-roll-off vessel Felicity Ace were evacuated by helicopter on Wednesday and brought to the archipelago of the Azores, states a spokesperson for the Portuguese navy.
