BW LPG acquires gas business from Spanish company

Gas carrier BW LPG takes over the LPG trade division from Vilma Oil in order to strengthen its position as a leading global player within the LPG area.

Gas carrier BW LPG is taking over the division of Spanish Vilma Oil that deals with liquified petroleum gas (LPG) in order to cement the Singapore-based company’s global leader position on the LPG market, according to the carrier.

With the acquisition, BW LPG expands its service division established in 2019 in order to support the company’s core business – transportation of liquified gas, which is extracted from crude oil or natural gas.
