DFDS chief would like to see more activity in freight markets

The ferry operator hopes for new growth in freight markets, says Torben Carlsen, who has removed an important figure from DFDS’ profit forecast and remains silent on a major Turkish acquisition.

DFDS has put a slightly challenging year behind it and believes in new growth in the freight markets in the second half of this year, when interest rates are expected to be lowered again and the large Turkish market begins to get a grip on the country’s inflation.
