US sanctions network of shipping companies for breaching oil price cap

According to the US Treasury Department, a network of foreign shipping companies and vessels were allegedly involved in price cap evasion.

The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on three ”entities” based in the United Arab Emirates and a tanker registered in Liberia, according to a statement on its website.
