Grieg Maritime sees profit dive as freight rates normalize

The downturn is expected and can be explained by a slowdown in the open hatch market, says the Norwegian carrier.

After its peak in 2022, rates have normalized in 2023 for Norwegian company Grieg Maritime Group which delivers a weaker bottom line but manages to stay in the black.
