Eurotunnel struggling to maintain Channel ferries

The British competitive authority seems to agree more and more with DFDS and P&O about the fact that Eurotunnel's dominance in the English Channel as both tunnel and ferry operator is too massive and damages the competition.

Eurotunnel is willing to separate its ferry shipping company My Ferry Link on the English Channel from its core business operating the tunnel under the Channel. According to Lloyd's Loading List, this happens as the company is trying to please the British competitive authorities, which are currently scrutinizing Eurotunnel's significant role in the Channel traffic as both tunnel operator as well as shipping company in competition with DFDS and P&O.
