Singapore carrier will get 14 new ships in 2013

Neptune Orient Lines, which operates APL, the world's ninth largest container carrier, will get 14 new vessels this year.

Neptune Orient Lines has bought more fuel efficient ships in an effort to cut costs in the struggling container industry, says the shipping company according to Bloomberg News.
