Ultrabulk performs well in difficult market

Danish carrier Ultrabulk presents a solid result for the first half of 2013, according to the company's financial report. The shipping company achieved a deficit and growth across the board.

Dry bulk carrier Ultrabulk performed well across the board in the financial report for the first half of 2013. Ultrabulk achieved a net profit of USD 10.5 million, compared to a USD 6 million profit in the same period last year. And the company's operational result (EBITDA) also grew from USD 8.2 million in the first half of 2012 to USD 12.8 in 2013, while revenues increased 19 percent, from USD 336 million to USD 400 million.
