EU negotiator: LNG draft shouldn't be watered down

The EU Commission's coming LNG proposal should not be watered down, says member of the EU Parliament in response to several countries calling for the coming LNG targets to be voluntary.

"We can't just water down all the content of the directive."

That's the response from Carlo Fidanza, one of the EU's key negotiators in relation to the coming LNG proposals, to several countries who have appealed to the EU's Transportation Committee, calling for the committee to make the coming LNG targets voluntary, according to Sustainable Shipping.
