D'Amico boosts its eco-design tank fleet again

Italian d'Amico has ordered four Handysize product tank ships from Hyundai Vinashin. The new order means that d'Amico has 12 newbuildings in the pipeline, says Fearnley.

D'Amico once again increases its focus on product tank and the company's eco-design fleet by ordering four Handysize product tankers from Hyundai Vinashin, according to Fearnley. The ships cost USD 31.2 million each and are scheduled for delivery between November 2015 and October 2016. And the company also secured options for upgrading the ships to ice-class IB for USD 963,000 per ship.
