Container exports up 6 percent in September

Global container exports increased by six percent in September this year, compared to the same month 2012, according to new numbers.

The increase in global container exports continued in September, compared to the same period last year, according to the latest data from Container Trades Statistics (CTS). The numbers show a 6.17 percent increase, which means that 10,860,600 teu were transported that month. The increase means that global container exports have experienced a constant growth in six months now.
