Offshore carrier secures huge growth in Caspian Sea

With a fleet of over 90 ships, offshore carrier Topaz Energy & Marine has achieved significant growth in both revenue and profits.

Dubai-based offshore and supply shipping company Topaz Energy & Marine has published an interim report for the first nine months 2013 for subsidiary Nico Middle East Ltd., which shows a significant growth in revenue as well as profits.

The revenue shows a growth of more than 27 percent compared to the same period last year, to a total of USD 284.2 million and an operating result (EBITDA) of USD 122.7 million, an improvement of approx. 20 percent. The company, which operates a fleet of more than 90 offshore vessels in the Middle East and the Caspian Sea, achieved USD 36.3 million in profit after taxes, a 40 percent improvement.
