IMO approves ballast water resolution

On Wednesday afternoon the IMO finally approved the resolution for the ballast water convention. "This enables us to secure the support of the last countries," says the Danish Maritime Authority.

The IMO plenary has just approved the resolution for the ballast water convention without comments, Anne Skov Strüver, section chief at the Danish Maritime Authority, tells ShippingWatch.
