Hapag-Lloyd in new appeal to Hamburg Süd

The management behind Hapag-Lloyd does not seem to have given up hopes of a merger with rival carrier Hamburg Süd.

In the newspaper Hamburg Abendblatt on Friday, the Chairman of Hapag-Lloyd, Juergen Weber, calls for rival carrier Hamburg Süd to join the current merger negotiations between Hapag-Lloyd and Chilean CSAV.
