Seafaring engineers earn the same as senior doctors on land

Wages for Danish engineers opting to work at sea instead of on land are skyrocketing, now even surpassing the basic salary of a senior consulting doctor.

Under the header "A year of salary increases" the Chairman of the Danish Association of Engineers, Per Jørgensen, can look back at a year for the association in which its members again achieved solid salary increases.

Unemployment is extremely low and the Danish engineers are in heavy demand, and one significant result of this is massive salaries and another step up the ladder.
