Hafnia Tankers' market value soars

Two large capital injections along with the acquisition of ships from the carrier's investors have helped new carrier Hafnia Tankers reach a market value of close to USD 500 million in just a few months.

Since the newly-established Danish product tank carrier Hafnia Tankers in October 2013 raised USD 235 million at the OTC Stock Exchange in Oslo, with the support of primary investors such as British Barclays and private equity funds Blackstone and Tufton Oceanic - 18 investors all in all - the company has achieved a market value of close to USD 500 million in just a few months.
