The 2013 annual report from Dutch Boskalis reaches several record-highs. Both in terms of revenue, at EUR 3.5 billion compared to EUR 3.1 billion in 2012, as well as its net result of EUR 366 million. This result came to EUR 249 million the year before, according to the company's annual report, published today.
The improvement was primarily caused by special items totaling around EUR 97 million before taxes, says the company. The orderbook decreased slightly, to EUR 4.000 billion, compared to EUR 4.106 billion in 2012.
