German Hansa Heavy Lift, which is based in Hamburg and owned by American private equity fund Oaktree Capial, is close to ordering six newbuildings, according to Asian news media SinoShip News.
The carrier was established in 2011 from the remains of bankrupt Beluga, and since then the fleet has grown from 16 to 24 ships today.
